- Account information: Email address, display name, and profile picture (if you sign in with Google).
- Club data: Clubs you create or join, your role, and membership status.
- Submissions and votes: Songs you submit, votes you cast, reactions you add, and comments you post.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and timing of actions to improve the service.
How we use it
- To provide and improve CutClub features
- To send notifications about matchups, deadlines, and results
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To respond to support requests
- To prevent fraud and abuse
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data
- We don't show ads
- We don't share your data with third parties for marketing
- We don't track you across other websites
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate CutClub:
- Supabase: Database and authentication
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Slack: Optional integration for notifications
- Vercel: Hosting and analytics
Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
Data retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Club and season data is retained as long as the club exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Export your data
- Delete your account and data
- Opt out of non-essential communications

Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, and secure authentication. We never store passwords in plain text.
