Terms of Service

Agreement

By using CutClub, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. Simple.

The service

CutClub is a music game platform where users create clubs, run seasons, submit songs, and vote. We provide the platform; you provide the opinions.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use CutClub
  • You're responsible for your account security
  • One person, one account
  • Don't share your account credentials

Content rules

When using CutClub, you agree not to:

  • Post illegal content or links to illegal content
  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users
  • Spam or manipulate votes
  • Impersonate others
  • Use automated tools to submit or vote
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your content

You own your submissions, comments, and other content you create. By posting to CutClub, you grant us a license to display that content within the service (for example, in recaps and club history).

You're responsible for having the right to share any content you post. Don't submit content you don't have permission to share.

Music links

CutClub is a platform for sharing links to music hosted elsewhere (Spotify, YouTube, etc.). We don't host music files. Playback is handled by the original platform.

Payments

  • Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Season Passes are non-refundable once a season has started
  • Credits don't expire and are non-refundable
  • We use Stripe for payment processing

Clubs and moderation

Club owners and admins are responsible for moderating their clubs. CutClub provides tools but doesn't actively moderate individual clubs unless we receive reports of violations.

Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may need to take the service down for maintenance occasionally. We'll try to give notice when possible.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account for violations, refunds are not provided.

Liability

CutClub is provided "as is." We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to arguments over whether that song really fits the theme.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify you of significant changes.
